Where is Nanga Parabat located?

Nanga Parbat is the 9th highest peak in the world and it is located in the north of Pakistan known as the Gilgit-Baltistan province. 



Why should you visit the Nanga Parbat Base camp? 

The Nanga Parbat though is known as the killer mountain due to its sheer surface and difficulty to summit the peak. But for enjoying the amazing beauty of the peak you need to reach the top, you can enjoy the beauty of the peak form the base camp of the peak. 
Secondly, the base camp of the Nanga Parbat is one of the most beautiful base camps in the world. This is because a mountain having such a great height is normally found in such localities which are remote and surrounded by such landscapes which are dangerous to reach out. For instance the surrounding of such mountain would be cover by thick glaciers, rocky mountains and there would be not a sign of greenery around. 
But in case of Nanga Parbat, the base camp is easy to reach out and it has a marvelous landscape around. 

How to reach there?

You can reach the base camp of Nanga Parbat by different means i.e you can reach there by road form Islamabad. Or you can choose to reach the base camp via by air, for which you need to land at Gilgit or Skardu airports in the region.
