Manchar Lake, Jamshoro Sindh, Pakistan

Located at the west of Indus River in the Jomshoro District of Sindh Pakistan, this lake is the largest freshwater lake in Pakistan as well as in Asia. The area of the lake fluctuates with the season from as little as 350 km2 to as much as 500 km2. The lake is feed by the number of streams from Kirthar range mountains and empties into the Indus River. 





The lake is also rich by the fishes and the nearby villagers earn their livelihood mainly from this lake. The visitors enjoy the swimming and boating in the lake. Also, the surrounding area is spectacular for the photography. The lake has also been visited by the flocks of the birds migrating from the Siberia.
